COVID-19 is changing how we all do business these days. From our state government clients requesting changes to LIHEAP, Weatherization, and Fiscal Reporting software to handle crucial adjustments of additional funding; changing fiscal years; and contract amendments to our non-profit clients trying to juggle more community needs; working from home; and trying to anticipate future reporting requirements.
A few of our non-profit clients recently requested a forum in which they could speak to us, CSG, and their peers at other Community Action Agencies and non-profits around the country that use Engage and other software products we have created.
We had Executive Directors, Planners, Program Managers and more attend the two-hour meeting which all found helpful. Various ideas were suggested by CSG and a variety of agencies discussed their different ways of helping clients and gathering data for reporting.
The group discussed creating surveys; new programs; new services; new outcomes; custom fields and much more.
This was an important step in the early days of this pandemic as all levels of society try to determine how to handle the sudden increased influx of community members in even greater need than before. As state governments try to figure what tracking and reporting information they need from their non-profit partners, and as non-profits try to quickly institute new procedures while ramping up their workload, Community Software Group is here to help as much as we can.
